To acquaint students with some of the Modern Career Opportunities available after BBA, Dr. Manasvi Kamat, Principal of the college encouraged the Department of Business Administration of Goa Multi Faculty College to organize a workshop on 15th August 2015 for its SYBBA and TYBBA students. The resource person for the workshop was Mrs. Poonam Shirsat from Amon-Ra Training Solutions.
Her 11 years of experience in the field of training was getting reflected as she addressed students on the topic “Modern Career Opportunities for BBA Students” from 9.30 to 11.30 am. She guided students on how they can make a career out of their hobbies. What you have been practicing as a hobby for several years, pursue it as a career, she stated. With the use of optical illusions, she made students realize why perception matters and how same thing can be looked at from different angles and perspectives.
Though interaction based approach, she briefed students on Career Opportunities in Films, Television, Advertising, Music, Radio etc. and also highlighted the requirements and scope of each of these careers. She urged all the students to take up things seriously and decide what career option they wish to pursue after BBA.
Workshop was indeed very informative and all the students thoroughly enjoyed it. Principal Dr Manasvi Kamat presented memento as a token of love to Mrs. Poonam Shirsat and Ms. Sonam Gondlekar proposed vote of thanks.
