The HR club “Hriday” in association with the Cultural Club has organized a Patriotic Group
Singing Competition on 14th August, 2019. The Event was coordinated by Mr. Subasish
Mohanty and the notice was circulated on 23rd July, 2019. The event kick-started at 01.00 PM at
the canteen area within the college premise.
The Principal, Dr. Shaikh Mohd. Parvez Al Usmani , addressed the gathering of students and formally announced the event to be opened to all the classes
across the college. Along with the Principal, the Program Coordinator, Mr. Mohanty, the General Secretary Mr, Mayuresh Khalap and the Cultural Secretary Mr. Aswek Faterpekar were present on the dais. Post the speech of our beloved principal, the rules and regulations were
again explained and the event started straightaway.
The event witnessed a total of eight classes across Commerce, Business Management and Computer Applications departments. Every group was allowed to sing for five mins and the Maximum permitted members in the group were set to eight while the minimum participants were capped at four per team. Karaoke were allowed for the performances and the person playing musical instrument was also considered the part of the team for the
assessment purposes. The theme of the competition was strictly patriotic and any other forms of songs were not allowed and would have lead to disqualification. Dr. Prasannakumar Ganji representing BBA Department, Ms. Siddhi Bandekar for BCA department and Mr. Subasish Mohanty representing the Commerce department were the jury members for the event.
