With a solemn objective of inculcating varied management skills among BBA Students, Department of Business Administration of Goa Multi- Faculty College organized “Management Games” for all the students of the BBA Department on 11th August 2016 on the Sanjeevani Sugar Factory Ground.

These 1 day Games were meticulously planned and organized by the organizing team comprising of Mr. Kaustubh Kamat, Mr. Eknath Shirodkar and Ms. Sonam Gondlekar along with Class Representatives of all the BBA Divisions. The games/activities aimed at developing team building, communication, strategy development, problem solving, decision making, coordination, creative thinking etc. were incorporated in the Management Games Event. Teacher and Student Coordinators were appointed for each game to ensure smooth and efficient conduct of all the games.

Program commenced at sharp 2.00 pm with an inaugural speech by Principal Dr. Manasvi Kamat who motivated students through her pearls of wisdom to play the games sportingly and adopt healthy competitive spirit. She appreciated and recognized the entire BBA Department for taking up such unique initiative. Soon the Principal flagged off the Management Games and unveiled the Rolling Trophy sponsored by BBA Department for the winning Team.

The First Game was Tennikoit which aimed at testing the strategy planning skills of the students. The coordinator for the game was Mr. Kaustubh Kamat. Seconf Game was three sided football which was coordinated by Mr. Eknath Shirodkar. Third game to test problem solving and decision making skills of the student was Treasure Hunt which was coordinated by Ms. Sonam Gondlekar. Tug of War was yet another game which aimed at testing planning, team building and coordination skills of the students. Besides this, three spot games were conducted by Ms. Fareen Shaikh, Ms. Tanvi Bambolkar and Ms. Krupa Kudalkar. Even these games aimed to test Concetration, Creativity and Project Management skills of the students. Games included Lemon and Spoon, Making a Tower out of Vermicilli and Creative Advertisement.

Besides these games, selfie contest was also announced a day prior to the event and wherein students were asked to ensure that branding of the college takes place through selfie. All the groups were asked to upload their selfies on Facebook and team with maximum likes was declared as winning team. Mr. Prasannakumar Ganji acted as a judge for this event. Ms. Kalpita Naik carried out the responsibility of maintaining the scores.

The event was total fun and students indeed played with true sportsmanship spirit. They got an opportunity to showcase their wide array of skills. SYBBA A Class turned out to be the overall champions of Management Games 2016 and took away the rolling trophy whereas TYBBA A divisions were declared as the Runners up.
