Business Accounting with Tally

Department of IT and Computer Application organized a guest lecture on the topic “Business Accounting with Tally” in college premises on 28th November 2015 at 2.30 p.m. Mr. Rajesh P. Lotlikar, C. E. O of Ampersand Consulting Company, was the resource person for the session. Mr. R. JebaRaj, welcomed the chief guest with token of flower. The speaker was introduced to the gathering by Mr. Ulhas Bansode and the program was hosted by Ms. Nilaxi Chari.

Mr. Rajesh P. Lotlikar conducted two sessions: First session he spoke about different opportunities in business, and types of company and their functions. He also explained different types of tax in India, such as Service tax, Central sales tax and Value added tax.

In second session, he demonstrated Tally software, Creation of Company, types of entry, features of tally and gave insight of why tally is required for any business.

The guest session was really interactive and indeed was an enriching experience for the students and the BCA staff. The program was successfully managed by Mr. Rajesh P. Lotlikar, the staff members and the students. The program went up to 5.15 p.m. and ended with closing remark followed by vote-of-thanks by student Mr. Kalmanker Suraj Ramnath, FYBCA.
