To acquaint students with some of the latest trends in the field of Training and Development and Career prospects in the field of training, HR Club of Goa Multi Faculty College organized a 2hrs program on 26th March 2016 from 2.00 to 04.00 pm in the college premises for TYBBA HR students.
The Club invited Mr. Mohanchand Sen, Education Officer at Central Board of Worker’s Education to address the students on aspects relating to Training and Talent Management. With regards to training he clarified to students the concept of training and its core principles. He explained them the steps involved in training process and also essentials of a good training program. He also emphasized upon set of guidelines which a trainer needs to follow to make learning process more effective. Students also gained valuable insights about range of careers they can opt for in the training field. In the second half he highlighted the importance of Training and Development in attracting, motivating and retaining core talent in the organization. Throughout his session, he shared several corporate examples with the students.
It was indeed a power packed program followed by an intensive Question Answer session, wherein students willingly got all their doubts and concerns clarified from the Resource Person. Program was an enlightening and enriching experience for students and all enjoyed it to the core. Program ended with Vote of Thanks by Ms. Sonam Gondlekar, Convener of HR Club.
