Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

On 18/08/2015: Conducted cleanliness drive for creating awareness among the public about the cleanliness of the Dayanandnagar, Dharbandora. The NSS volunteers actively participated in creating awareness by taking door to door campaign to the public, informing them about the importance of cleanliness. The students took the initiative to clean the surrounding of vicinity. The total number of students who participated in the campaign were 140.

< p align="justify">On 20/08/ 2015: The NSS volunteers taken a unique programme of digging of trenches for water logging in Temple Premises, Dayanand Nagar, Dharbandora. The students actively participated in the campaign and thus the problem of water logging in trenches was solved which is a major issue during rainy season. 120 volunteers participated in making this programme successful.

On 25/08/2015: NSS students conducted street play on Swach Bharat in Dharbandora, for creating awareness about cleanliness to the public.

On 2/10/2015: On Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, our volunteers took plastic collection drive in the college campus and the vicinity. Students cleaned the campus area and the surrounding of Okam Village, Dharbandora. The plastics collected were disposed off safely by the volunteers. About 115 students participated.

25/11/2015: Besides all these programmes students conducted campus work, worked in the college garden.

04/12/2015: NSS Volunteers along with teacher in charge visited the Kalsai village and carried out Swachh Bharat Awareness and intensive discussions on problems confronting them if the surrounding is not cleared.

04/01/2016: NSS volunteers along with the teachers in charge Mr. Neelesh Morajkar, Ms Kalpita Naik, Mr. Ulhas Bansode, Mr. Kaustubh Kamat and office staff Mr. Devidas Gaonkar and Mr. Udas Dessai visited Dabal village for creating Swachh Bharat Awareness and keeping surrounding clean. Volunteers made the best efforts by giving information on positivity of Swachhata Abhiyan and personally visiting each house. They performed street play for the same. Nearly 40 houses were visited by the NSS volunteers.

20/06/2015: The College has taken initiative for pasting “IDIOMS” on the walls of College building.

The college has also taken into consideration the concept of “Swachh Bharat Nital Goem”. In this Regards to make the awareness regarding cleanliness we have the stamp of “Swachh Bharat, Swachh Goa” on every letter that is outwarded from the college office.
