Rannbhoomi is a 2 day National Level Management Event organised by Dempo College, Panaji.The event was held on 21st and 22nd March, 2016 at Entertainment Society of Goa.
The accompanying Faculties with the team were Asst. Prof. Ms.DhanashreeNaik Desai and Asst. Prof. Ms. Sushmeeta Vasta. Students of FYBBA and SYBBA participated in the Event and competed in events of Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Best manager, Quiz and photography. The team members were Chetna Parwar, Tanmay Malkarnekar, Wilson Fernandes, Richard Fernandes, Satyam Naik, Shivam Balve, Salman Shaikh and Yuraj Ganachari.
The students did well in all the events. Tanmay Malkarnekar and Chetna Parwar managed to reach the semi-finals. While the other students also performed equally well.
The event required to handle a lot of stress, work and endurance. There were assignments given to the students in advance, pre-assignments were given every night, and there were a few on-the spot competitions.
The completions organised were spotlight events which were team events, Poster making, Video making, photography, Drama, case studies, presentations, business plan, dining etiquettes as well as physical activities.
A total number of 11 colleges took part in the event. Rosary College of arts, commerce and science, Navelim won the 1st place and St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa won the 2nd place, while our college won the 5th place.
