PTA Meeting

Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora has organized the PTA meeting for the academic year 2015-16. The Programme was formally started at 9:30 AM of 22nd December at the Sanjeevani Sugar Factory Hall, Dharbandora. The following guests were present on the dais for the event:

  2. Dr. Manoj S. Kamat, Vice Chairman, SSPES & Advisor, IDC, Govt. of Goa
  3. Dr. Manasvi Kamat, Principal, SSPES’s Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora
  4. Dr.Allen Abreu, Principal, GVM’s College of Education, Ponda, Goa
  5. Mr. Himmat Ram Malviya, PTA Member, SSPES’s Goa Multi-Faculty College
  6. Mr. Venkatesh Sangaonkar, PTA Member, SSPES’s Goa Multi-Faculty College
  7. The day was observed as the PTA day where the guardians of the students were called for a get together. The Principal Madam formally welcomed all the parents and dignitaries and presented the annual report before them. The meeting started with a formal welcome note by the Principal followed by the presentation of the annual report of the college. After the presentation is over, the guests were called upon the stage to grace the dais.

    The Chairman, Mr. Ganesh Gaonkar expressed his happiness and blessed all the students of Goa Multi-Faculty College for all their past achievements. He also suggested the students to keep the good work going so that it may lead the organization to greater heights. Followed by the speech of the Chairman, the Vice Chairman, Dr. Manoj Kamat expressed his visionary ideas for the institution. In his speech, he emphasized on sustainable growth and development of the organization both on the part of the Employees as the as the students getting education in the institute with a special thrust to the poor and socially under privileged sections of the society. Dr. Allen Abreu, Principal of GVM’s College of Education and the Guest of Honor appreciated the institute by exemplifying some events where the college had shown its versatility and dynamism by siting examples before other well-established colleges in Goa. PTA members also expressed their satisfaction towards the institution in guiding and shaping the young minds.

    After the PTA Meeting, the results were displayed by the respective mentors of the classes to the parents. During the process, the mentors tried to address the issues of the parents as well as the students and it was altogether an interactive session. Mentors had also given their feedback for the students and some tips for improvement.
