On 16th September 2017, guest lecture was organized for TYBBA (HR Specialization) students on “Industrial Relations and Disciplinary Procedure in Company”. It was a one hour session which kick started at 2.30 pm. Resource Person for the program was Mr. Sarvesh Halarnekar, HR Manager of MRF Ltd., Usgao.
Program began with introduction of the resource person by Ms. Sonam Gondlekar followed by his floral welcome. Further Mr. Halarnekar emphasized on what is Industrial Relations and challenges faced while managing it in company as IR person. Talking about the disciplinary procedure he outlined the steps involved and enumerated on each of those with real life examples. His session was indeed application oriented and interactive. He focused more upon sharing his industry experiences and learning’s with the students. He shared with students challenges he faced during his experience as HR Manager in Crompton Greaves, Encube Ethicals, ACC Cements etc.
Session did receive positive response from the student community.
