BCA department of Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dhabandora, Organized Industrial Visit to CIBA(Centre of Incubation and Business Acceleration) in Goa on 25th July 2019 for First year BCA students. CIBA is a technology based business incubator based in Goa and Mumbai functioning since last 7 years.CIBA is sponsored by Department of Science & Technology, Governemnt of India and Government of Goa. Mr. Raj Naik, Relationship Manager at CIBA addressed the students and stressed on the importance of start-ups.He also explained abou
t the various services and facilities provided by CIBA for a Budding Entrepreneur. To wind up the students had a tour of the incubator.
After visiting CIBA, the students were taken to “Kshitij”,a project exhibition organized by Don Bosco College of Engineering,Margao-Goa.The exhibition had academic projects,mini science and technical projects,projects in association with IIC(Institution Innovation Council,DBCE) and display of models by industries and professional societies. The students had good exposure to current research and development happening in the field of science and technology.
