Arranged guest lecture for FY BBA students in Managerial Economics-I, Topic on “Role and responsibilities of managers” on 30/09/2019 by Mr. Ramachandra Prabhu Salgaonkar. The session was very informative to the students as they felt true insights of role of managers. As he explained that the role or the manager is to set and attain smart targets for his/her group, in line with higher level goals and the mission of the company. It is a main task for the manager to motivate & develop people and to create a comfortable work environment for working on the targets. The role of managers will be tough during critical situations but manageable. He also cited different examples how decisions are made in different situations by managers.
