On the 2nd of October 2019, about 66 students from FYBBA visited the esteemed company ‘Nestle’ based in Maulinguem- Bicholim, Goa at 2:00 pm along with two teachers Mr. Eknath Shirokar and Mr. Suraj Velip.
After entering inside the plant security officer briefed students on do’s and don’t while taking a round inside the plant. Later students were taken to the seminar room. Corporate Affair Manager along with his Assistants elaborately explained the functioning of all departments and how Nestle company struggled and fight back to cope up during lead issue.
Further as instructed by the company authorities, students were divided into two batches of 33 each and we’re taken inside the production department to see the production process live and get their doubts clarified. At the end of the visit, students were offered refreshment followed by a small feedback session.
However, the entire industrial visit was an educational one teaching us a lot to take back and practise in our daily lives, right from learning how a factory works to how much safety and security the factory ensures, was very educational.
