To instil in students interest for Entrepreneurship and acquaint them with the facilities available for budding entrepreneurs, Goa Multi Faculty College in association with CIBA and JCI Ponda organized one day workshop on “Entrepreneurship Development” on 12th September 2015. Program witnessed the presence of 80 students of TYBBA and TYBCom.
Don’t be the Job Begger, be the Job Creator; were the words of Principal Dr. Manasvi Kamat as she delivered the Welcome Address. She urged students to do their level best and shine like stars. She appealed the students to make good use of opportunities provided to them and make a good change in themselves and in the society.
Mr. Tushar Sawant, Manager – CIBA, stressed on how entrepreneurship is a lucrative career option and why it’s a good career choice. He highlighted schemes and assistance offered by CIBA to those interested in setting up new businesses.
You may not know what is going to happen when you try, but if you do not try, nothing will happen, remarked Adv Shailendra Naik from JCI as he conversed with students. He appealed students to work for themselves by setting a particular goal. By citing examples of famous entrepreneurs and personalities, he ignited the spark for entrepreneurship among students.
This informative and enlightening workshop ended with Vote of Thanks by Vice Principal, Mr. Prasanna Kumar Ganji.
