On 4th and 5th March 2015 Two days state level seminar on “Sustainable urban Development” organized by GVM’s GGPR College of Commerce. The seminar started at 10.30am with inauguration in presence of Shri Venkatesh Naik, Councilor PMC, Goa, Dr. Alen Ebro Principal GVM’s College of education, Ponda, Goa.
The inauguration was followed by a sessions by the 2 diverse set of speakers on the topic of Sustainable urban Development. The post lunch session was dedicated for the presentations by the authors of the paper. Our students Mr. Gouresh and Ms. FevolaD’souza presented a paper titled “Urbanization and its effect on the Ecological Foot print in India”.The study basically covers the Ecological Foot Print in India with special reference to Urbanization. The study is based on data from various Sources like websites and magazines published by different agencies been referred for the purpose of preparing the paper.
