Student Council Elections of Goa Multi-Faculty College were held on 30th August 2018 in the college premises. Elections were peacefully organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. Manasvi Kamat and Student Council Incharge Mr. Eknath Shirodkar. Elections for the Post of General Secretary, Sports Secretary, Cultural Secretary, Lady Representative and Class Representatives were being held in separate classes under the supervision of respective class mentors. Elections which began at sharp 1.30 and were followed by counting of votes at 2.30 pm which further lasted till 3.30 pm. The entire process went on smoothly and all the candidates accepted their win and defeat in sporting manner. Details of Election Results are being provided below.
GENERAL SECRETAY/SPORTS SECRETARY/CULTURAL SECRETARY/LADIES REPRESENTATIVE
For the Post of General Secretary, no election was held as Election Committee received just one nomination. Mr. Samarth Naik (TYBCA) was declared unopposed as the General Secretary of the college.
Secondly for the post of Sports Secretary, college had received three nominations that is from Mr. Shreyash Gawde (SYBCA), Mr. Mayuresh Khalap (SYBCA) and Mr. Prasad Narvekar (TYBCA). Mr. Shreyash Gawde (SYBCA), Mr. Mayuresh Khalap (SYBCA) withdraw their candidature by informing in writing on 27th August and nomination form of Mr. Prasad Narvekar (TYBCA) was rejected by Scrutiny committee due to non-fulfillment of point 2 mentioned in SOP for college Student Council. On the day of Election on 30th of August Director of Physical Education Mr. Elroy Pinto nominated Mr. Deepraj Naikwith as Sports Secretary for 2018.
Thirdly for the Post of Cultural Secretary, no election was held as Election Committee received just one nomination. Mr. Purvaj Raut (TYBBA) was declared unopposed as the Cultural Secretary of the college.
Fourthly, for the post of Ladies Representative Ms. Aneesa Pathan (TYBCA) was declared as the winner as she received 187 votes while Ms. Sheetal Ghadi from TYBBA got 119 votes.
CLASS REPRESENTATIVES
As far as the elections of Class Representatives were concerned, elections was held in only 1 class as in rest of the classes CR’s were elected unopposed.
BBA
In FYBBA (A) Ms. Hansi Kurtarkar was elected as CR with 23 votes where other contender Mr. Saquib Ayub received 3 votes.
In FYBBA (B) Mr. Sadik Mustaq was elected unopposed.
In SYBBA (A) Mr. Pintokumar Bahadur was elected unopposed.
In SYBBA (B) Mr. Saish kevonkar was elected unopposed.
In TYBBA (A) Ms. Purvi Wadkar was elected unopposed.
In TYBBA (B) Ms. Suntrupti Ghadi was elected unopposed.
BCOM
In FYBCom Mr. Tejan Khutker was elected unopposed.
In SYBCom Ms. Akshata Khutkar was elected unopposed.
In TYBCom Ms. Amita Gawali was elected unopposed.
BCA
In FYBCA Mr. AKhil Naik was elected unopposed as the CR.
In SYBCA Ms. Sibin Shaji was elected unopposed as the CR.
In TYBCA Mr. Rushikesh malkarnekar was elected unopposed as the CR.
