NIRVIKALPA 16

Goa Multi-Faculty College participated in National Level Management Festival “Nirvikalpa 16” organized by Padmaraj Ariga Bharatesh College of Business Administration, Belgaum. This two days long event was held on 23rd & 24th January 2016 at Roopali Convention Hall, Belgavi. Six Students of BBA along with 2 Faculty Coordinators Mr. Eknath Shirodkar and Ms. Sonam Gondlekar attended this 2 days program. This Festival comprised of 6 Individual events and 3 Team events for which 18 colleges participated from all over India.

The first competition was Perfect Candidate (Best Manager Contest) for which Ms. Shreya Naik from TYBBA participated. This competition required her to do presentations on Case Studies, make videos and print ads within a short span of time. Competition comprised of Pre Assignments as well as Night Assessments. Out of 18 participants, Ms. Shreya Naik managed to qualify in Top 7.

For the Second Competition that is Finomenon, Mr. Nikhil Sinai Sangaonkar participated wherein he had to go through several rounds on Finance and Banking. He managed to qualify in Top 7.

Third Competition was Brand Me wherein student’s knowledge about HR was being rigorously tested. Ms. Vaishanvi Hodarkar from GMFC cleared several rounds and could make her place in the Semi Finals.

For the next competition that is Ad Wicket, Mr. Prajyot Shilkar succeeded in qualifying in Top 7. In this event, his knowledge of Advertising, Marketing etc was tested.

The two events for which our college performed exceptionally well were Game Changer and The Share Point. In both these events participants were questioned on all the areas and they had to perform in stressful situations created by the organizers. Both the participants; Mr. Tanmay Makarnekar (Game Chager) and Ms. Chetna Parwar (Share Point) qualified in Finals.

Though College did not win any prizes, it was a good exposure and learning experience for the students. Through this program students, did get more confidence and their approach to look at things also changed.
