As a part of IT Club of Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dhabandora, we were privileged to have two best resource persons amongst us on 13th December 2016.The resource personals were Mr. Vincent Toscano and Mr. Anay Kamat.
Dr. Manasvi Kamat, Principal of Goa Multi-Faculty College, welcomed the guest speakers. bouquet of flowers were presented to the guest by students Ms. Tejasvi and Ms. Smitha from FYBCA.
Mr. Vincent, Vice President of Goa IT Professionals spoke on the topic “Goa in IT Era”. In his lecture, he discussed about the various goans who have their own technology based start-ups. further he emphasized that, we don’t have to rely on somebody to be at our best, we can just do it with the help of Information Technology, as it is the best tools which can assist us to do anything and everything to acquire knowledge, wisdom and new trends.
Next Resource person Mr. Anay Kamat Spoke on “Reducing poverty through technology”. Mr. Anay Kamat is Co-Founder of PresentSoft.He introduced to the students how the barter system worked in the previous era and tried to relate it to the current scenario. He mentioned to the students the benefits of going cashless and encouraged them to try and use this approach.
