on 16th January 2016, Finance Club of Goa Multi-Faculty College organized two competitions for the First Year, Second and Third Year students of BBA. On this day, Stock Wars ad Street Play competition was held in the college premises which received overwhelming response from the students. The first competition was Stock Wars for which Mr. Salman Kachapur and Mr. Artish Naik from SYBBA (A) were the coordinators. In this activity, all the BBA Classes participated except for TYBBA (A). Participants were required to invest money in stocks, depending upon the news that was being flashed on screen by the coordinators. Winners of this event were TYBBA (B) whereas SYBBA (A) turned out to be Runners up. Whereas in the Brokers Category, Mr. Devraj Parab was the winner and Mr. Neetesh Fatrekar, the Runner Up.
This was immediately followed by Street Play Competition wherein all the participating classes thrilled everyone with their acts. Theme for Street Play was Investor Awareness and Ms. Pooja Palyekar and Ms. Sushmeeta Vasta served as the judges. First place for street play went to FYBBA A, second place to TYBBA B and third to FYBBA B. But all the teams did created awareness about investment related aspects through their acts.
While the two competitions were going on, quiz was also conducted for non participating students with intent to involve them and upgrade their knowledge base. Towards the end of the program, Mr. Salman Shaikh, Mr. Rohan Bandekar, Mr. Devraj Parab expressed their opinion and experience they derived while playing stock wars with rest of the students. All stressed upon the same point that it was fun and good learning experience. They also expressed their desire to organize and participate in several such activities in the time to come.
