SSPES’s Goa Multi-Faculty College organized an event “EXOTICA 2K18” from 05th to 07th February 2018. The event was organized through Student Council of the College to give students a platform to showcase their talent and to provide them scope for fun and enjoyment.
All the classes were allocated with different group names TYBCA- Annabelle, FYBBA-A- Twilight, SYBBA-A – Transformer, TYBBA-B- Wolworine, FYBCA- Zootopia, FYBBA-B Troy, FYBCOM- The Wolf, SYBCOM- Ice Age, TYBBA-A- Pirates, SYBBA-B – Hulk, SYBCA- Thor, TYBCOM- Undisputed.
Day 1
On Day 1st that is 05th February 2018, EXOTICA 2K18 was formally inaugurated at the Hands of Principal Dr. Manasvi Kamat in the Afternoon. Principal while addressing the students shared vital words of motivation with students and urged them to participate in all the competitions with true sportsmanship spirit.
The first onstage competition held on Day 1 included Traditional Day Ramp Walk for which Mr. Ulhas Bonsode was the Teacher Co-ordinator. Mr.Mehboob from TYBBA was the Student In-charge. Students from different classes walked the ramp with Traditional attires and accessories.
For the second competition, that is Ice Breaker, Ms. Sonam Gondelkar was assigned the responsibility of Teacher Co-ordinator and Mr. Prajyot Bhamaikar was assigned responsibility Student In-charge. Students introduced themselves with song, poems, video & Act. Winner for this competition was team Pirates and runner up was Team Transformer.
For the Third competition, that is Group Singing , Mr. Subasish Mohanty was assigned the responsibility of Teacher Co-ordinator and Mr. Yuvraj Ganachari was assigned as Student-Incharge. Students thrilled audience with their melodious voices by singing various forms of songs. Winner for this competition was team Hulk and runner up was Team Wolvorine.
For the Fourth event, that is Solo Dance, Ms. Kalpita Naik was the Teacher Co-ordinator and Mr. Purvaj Raut was Student In-charge. Students enthralled everyone with their performances. Winner for this competition was team Thor and runner up was Team Hulk.
The first offstage event held that is Click Me, each group of student assigned task to captured Magic Moments of Exotica 2K18. Ms. Fahreen Shaikh was Teacher In-charge and Mr. Shubham Shinde was Student In-charge. Winner for this competition was team Zootopia and runner up was Team Transformer.
For the second off-stage competition was Cook Without Flame. Ms.Suchita Naik was Teacher In-charge and Ms. Chandan Diwani was Student In-charge. Students prepared delicious food without flame. Winner for this competition was team Wolvorine and runners up were Team Twilight and undisputed.
For the third off-stage competition was Pencil Sketch. Ms. Sandhya Joseph was Teacher In-charge and Mr. Vipul Khandeparkar was Student In-charge. Students showed their art skill with this competition. Winner for this competition was team Hulk and runner up was Team Twilight.
Day 2
Day 2 was basically a Creativity day wherein students had to come with creative attires. Day started with creative ramp Walk.
The first onstage event was Junkyard. Students took wonderful advantage of the situation to boast about themselves. Students had created various music using object rather than original musical instruments. Mr. Kaustubh Kamat was the Teacher In-charge and Mr.Salim was Student In-charge. Winner for this competition was team Wolworine and runner up was Team Hulk.
The Second onstage event was Fashion show. Mr. Sandesh Gaonkar was the Teacher In-charge and Mr. Suraj was Student In-charge. Students walked the ramp with vibrant attires depicting various themes. Winners for this competition were team Pirates & Hulk and runner up was Team Wolworine.
The first off-stage event was Mock CID, Mr.Suraj Velip was Teacher In-charge and Ms. Purvi was Student In-charge. Students were given clues to complete task. Winner for this competition was team Pirates and runner up was Team Ice Age.
Second off-stage event was Cuts and Stiches. Students had designed various types of dress using wastage product. Ms. Shradha Naik was Teacher In-charge and Ms. Sneha Gaonkar was Student In-charge. Winner for this competition was team Pirates and runner up was Team Undisputed.
Day 3
Third day was the Indo-Western Day wherein students depicted Indo-Western dresses of different cultures to walk the ramp.
The first event started with Mr. & Miss Exotica 2k18. Mr. Pratik Korkankar was Teacher In-charge and Ms. Vaishnavi was the Student In-charge. The competition was divided into three rounds like Ramp walk, talent round and Question Answer round. Winner for Mr.Ecotica was team Troy and runner up was Team Twilight. Winner of Miss Exotica was Transformer and runner up was Pirates.
Second event started with Standup Comedy. Mr. Nilesh Morajkar was Teacher In-charge and Mr. Madhur was Student In-charge. Students took wonderful advantage of the situation to boast about themselves. Winner for this competition was team Pirates and runner up was Team Hulk.
The first off-stage event started with 3rd Degree. Ms. Megha Mohan was the Teacher In-charge and Mr. Aaditya was Student In-charge. Winner for this competition was team Annabelle and runner up was Team Pirates.
Second off-stage event was hit the wicket. Mr. Elroy Pinto was Teacher In-charge & Mr.Rajat Bhandari was Student In-charge. Students had showed sports spirits. Winner for this competition was team Transformer and runner up was Team Toy..
After the overall scouring Team Pirate was Winner and Team Hulk was Runner up. The entire event was full of fun and enjoyment and well managed by the Student Council. Students indeed got a wonderful platform to display their hidden talents and it turned out to be a real break for them from their normal academics.
