The best physique inter collegiate event was held at the Goa University Jubilee Hall on 27th August 2019. The Goa Multi Faculty College team participated in the event for the very first time. A training camp of 1 week was conducted for the students under the guidance of Mr. Santosh Mhapsekar. In total there were total 6 participants.
In the upto 60 kg category, Mr Mahesh Gawade (FYBBA) was shortlisted in top 10 but was later eliminated. Mr Shreyash Gawde (TYBCA) gave a brilliant performance and secured a bronze medal for the college. In the upto 60 kg category Mr Vishal Navelkar (TYBBA) competed well but could not qualify for the next round. In upto 75kg category Prajay Gawde (SYBCA) gave his best but he was not shortlisted. The above 85kg category saw the college earning a brilliant gold medal through Shaquib Khan (SYBBA) whereas Ashwet Dessai (TYBBA) did his best.
With 1 gold medal and 1 bronze medal the college team secured overall runners up position in the Inter Collegiate Best Physique Championship. This was the first time our college secured runners up position in best physique competition organised by Goa University. As it was the first time our college was participating in such competition it was a brilliant performance by our students to secure such a position.
