ANNUAL PRIZE DISTRIBUTION AND FAREWELL PROGRAM

The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony and Farewell Program were held on 3rd April 2018 at Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora. The event was organized to acknowledge and celebrate the talents and relentless hard work of the students that enabled them to achieve success in the fields of academics, sports, social service and cultural activities. Honourable Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Dr. Pramod Pandurang Sawant was the Chief Guest for the event. The celebration was also graced by the presence of the Chairman of S.S.P.E.S, Shri. Ganesh Gaonkar, and the Secretary of S.S.P.E.S, Shri Arun Bicholkar.

After her welcome Address, the Principal Dr. Manasvi Kamat presented her annual report in which she highlighted the various activities that happened during the academic year 2017-18 in GMFC. Later, during the Chairman’s address Shri Ganesh Gaonkar briefly expressed his happiness at being present on this auspicious occasion and expressed appreciation for all the effort undertaken by students and staff to bring laurels to GMFC. Then the Secretary of S.S.P.E.S, Shri Arun Bicholkar, enlightened the audience about the objective and overall vision of Shri Sateri Pissani Education Society. In his Special Address, the Chief Guest spoke positively about the Members of Shri Sateri Pissani Education society and praised everyone at Goa Multi-Faculty College for taking the initiative and contributing their bit to the development of Dharbandora taluka.

In the course of the event, around one hundred prizes were distributed by the dignitaries to honour the talents and success of students in various areas including Sports, Academics, Cultural Activities and others. Mr. Parshuram Lamani from BCA and Miss. Chetna Parwar from BBA were awarded the prestigious ‘Student Of The Year’ awards (in the Male & Female Categories Respectively). The GMFC Placement Brochure was released by The Honourable Chief Guest after the distribution of prizes. The event ended on a cheerful note with the winners posing for photos with their certificates, medals and trophies.

The Farewell function for the Third year students of GMFC was organized once the prize distribution function concluded successfully. Farewell programme was organised by SY and FY students of GMFC. Farewell function was a fun-filled celebration marked by games, music, an impromptu fashion show and a nostalgic journey down memory lane through photos representing the past three years of the Third students’ lives. The farewell ended with the third year students gathering around and cutting a special cake to commemorate their college days.
