Students at India Energy Week 2024

Under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India,
and officially supported by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI), the
international exhibition and conference “ INDIA ENERGY WEEK 2024” was held From 6th
to 9th February 2024.


The students’ visit to India Energy Week aimed to provide participants with insights into
India’s energy sector, its challenges, opportunities, and innovations. The event served as
a platform for students to interact with industry leaders, policymakers, and experts in
the field of energy.


The visit took place on 9th February 2024 at ONGC-IPSHEM, Betul,Goa, accommodating
various sessions, workshops, and exhibitions related to energy.
Thirty one students of Goa Multi faculty College visited the exhibition. Mr. Sandesh
Gaonkar, Asst. Prof. in IT and Computer Applications and Ms. Pranita Naik, Asst. Prof in
Environmental Studies, were deputed to accompany students.


The visit attracted students from various educational institutions across the nation,
including universities, colleges, and research institutes. Additionally, professionals and
enthusiasts interested in energy and sustainability were also in attendance.


The students’ visit to India Energy Week proved to be a fruitful and enriching experience,
providing participants with comprehensive insights into India’s energy landscape.
Through engaging sessions, interactive discussions, and practical experiences, students
gained valuable knowledge and skills that will undoubtedly contribute to their academic
and professional endeavors in the energy sector. The event served as a catalyst for
fostering innovation, collaboration, and sustainable practices in India’s journey towards
a cleaner and more resilient energy future.
