Newly constituted Student Council of Goa Multi Faculty College celebrated Friendship Day in a grand way at Sanjeevani Sugar Factory Hall on 8th August 2015. Program which started at around 4.30pm was entirely planned & managed by Council Members with a perfect blend of Dance, Music & Competitions.
The council members were very excited to organize their first event for students. The General Secretary, Cultural Secretary and all the members of the council worked together for the arrangement of the stage and hall setting. The event was hosted by Miss Vaishnavi and Mast. Prajyot from FY BBA. Solo singing competition was held on the same day. The singing competition was liked and enjoyed by everyone. The judges for the competition were Mr. Vinod and Mr. Prakash.
Every contestant made the crowd sing along with them but there were some really good singers who could win the title. The 1st prize was bagged by Riteish Malik FY BBA B and the 2nd was won by Laksha Chari from FY B.COM.
There were also many spot prize games for the enjoyment of the students. One of such game was collecting maximum number of flowers/chocolates/friendship bands which were being sold by TYBBA MARKETING students as a part of their curriculum.
The TYBBA MARKETING class brilliantly managed their stalls of selling goodies to the students. Principal along with the staff members were also a part of the event. The event was a very successful one and everything went on as per what was planned.
After all the competitions the winners of the Poster making competition on Dengue awareness were declared by the Principal. Program ended with musical performance by DJ Raghu from SYBCA who made everyone shake their legs on his musical beats. Everyone appreciated Student Council for wonderful organization and for making the day memorable for all.
