Students of Government High School Shigao at Goa Multi-Faculty College For Exposure Visit



An exposure visit was organized by Shri. Gopal Gaonkar Memorial Goa Multi-Faculty College (GMFC) for students of
Government High School, Shigao, Collem , Goa. The event took place on 23rd January 2025, at 10:30 a.m. and 14 students
participated for the same. The program aimed to provide exposure to the students of education industry and also to
introduce students to various courses offered at Goa Multi-Faculty College and provide interactive and engaging learning
opportunities.
The event began with an Introductory Session, including a welcome address by the Principal and the screening of a college
documentary. Following this, a brief overview of the college courses was provided by various faculty members:
- B.C.A.: Presented by Ms. Nilaxi Chari, from BCA Department.
- B.Com.: Presented by Dr. Ulhas Bansode, from B.Com Department.
- B.B.A.: Presented by Mr. Rajendra Gounder, from BBA Department.
An interactive session (Q&A) followed, allowing students to clarify their doubts and gain insights into the courses.
Activities Conducted:
Ms. Suchi Aditya Gaonkar and student volunteers conducted Activities for students which included quizzes, team-building
exercises, and creative challenges to engage the participants.

Pandurang Kaisuvekar and Ms. Ruchi Kuttikar,
Further the Library Tour was Guided by Ms. Bhavani K. Rabinal and Mr. Diptesh Prabhudessai.
The Vermicompost Session was Conducted by Ms. Milan Gaonkar, and Ms. Nilaxi Chari educated students about the eco-
friendly waste management practices.
The program concluded with the prize distribution and the Refreshment was provided to the students, followed by a group
photo session to capture the event’s memorable moments.
The exposure visit provided high school students with a comprehensive understanding of the courses offered at Goa Multi-
Faculty College and fostered a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm for higher education. It was a well-structured and
interactive program, ensuring maximum participation and engagement.
The programme was coordinated by Ms. Suchi Gaonkar , College Counsellor, Ms. Sonam Gondlekar, Assistant Professor
in Psychology, and Ms. Kalpita Naik, Assistant Professor in Commerce.
