BCA department of Goa Multi-Faculty College, organized a workshop for all the TYBCA students by Mr. Venkatesh Prabhu, Proprietor of Thyway Creations, Mapusa.
Online registrations for the same were done with the help of Google forms, where all 31 students successfully registered. All participants were provided lunch and were awarded a certificate of participation. The workshop was attended by 27 students and all BCA staff members.
He covered various topics like:
- Introduction to the user interface of GIMP software
- Various tools and techniques in GIMP
- Introduction to the user interface of Videopad video editor
- Various tools and techniques in Videopad video editor
The duration of the workshop was eight hours. The participants underwent hands on training in GIMP and Videopad software. Sir also highlighted the importance of using open source software over licensed or pirated ones.
Here the resource person interacted with the students and solved their queries. It was a very interactive and resourceful session.
