Sateri Pisani Education Society’s Goa Multi- Faculty College, Dharbandora held the
Inauguration of Students Council and swearing in ceremony of the newly elected members of
the Council for the academic year 2019-2020 on 24th September 2019 in the college premises.
The dignitaries on the dais were the most distinguished and eminent personalities, Chief Guest,
Mr. Pradeep Naik, Deputy Collector, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Dharbandora, Guest Of
Honour, Mr. Sadanand Sangodkar, Chief Agricultural Officer, Sanjeevani Sugar Factory,
Dharbandora, Special Invitee, Mr. Sahadev Gawas, Labour Officer, Sanjeevani Sugar Factory,
Dharbandora and the Principal Dr. Shaikh Mohammad Parvez Al-Usmani.
The programme commenced with the Principal’s formal address welcoming the Chief Guest and
Guest of Honour followed by Traditional Lamp Lightening.
Subsequently, Assistant professor, Ms. Shradha Naik, introduced the Chief Guest and the Guest
of Honour giving a brief introduction and throwing light on the achievements’ and contribution
being as top administrative officials.
Principal Sir welcomed the chief guest and guest of honour with bouquets as a token of love.
Mr. Eknath Shirodkar, the Convenor and Incharge of Students Council Committee introduced
the members of the students council. Each student member was formally welcomed into their
respective Student Bodies with a rose at the hands of the chief guest, guest of honour and
Principal sir.
The formal Oath Ceremony was led by the Students Council Incharge, Mr. Eknath Shirodkar.
Student members of the various Councils promised to abide by the rules and regulations that
govern the Institution, and to carry out the entrusted duties and responsibilities with courage and
conviction.
Mr. Pradeep Naik, Chief Guest, in his inaugural address congratulated the students and said that
the students should take up the responsibility of making the campus a much constructive
campus. He addressed the gathering by his encouraging words saying everyone has to take
problems as challenge and push ourselves towards the betterment and upliftment of the society
and bring laurels and success to the college.
He also spoke about the importance of Student council and the role of the same saying that
participation in extra-curricular activities would nourish the talents and bring out the best
qualities. He emphasized on building up the career with passion and ambitious motives
irrespective of the socio-economic background and strive hard with endless and seamless efforts.
He also offered a helping hand to all the students and told to approach in need of any problem.
Later on, Momentos were given by the Principal on behalf of Goa Multi-Faculty College, to the
Chief Guest and Guest of Honour as a token of gratitude and love.
Lastly, the General Secretary, Mr. Mayuresh Khalap, proposed vote of thanks.
The program concluded with national anthem and photograph session.
