


SPES’s Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora-Goa, proudly received a Certificate and Memento from the Honorable Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant, for its outstanding contribution to the 100% Literacy Program under ULLAS – Nav Bharat Saksharta Karyakram. This initiative, undertaken in collaboration with SCERT and the Directorate of Education, is a significant step under the New India Literacy Program, aimed at empowering women and achieving 100% literacy in the state.
The recognition was awarded to the Nodal Officer, Mr. Rajendra Gounder, Assistant Professor in Economics and 14 dedicated students volunteers – “Mr. Deepraj Devidas Gaonkar, Mr. Viraj Mahadev Gaonkar, Mr. Divesh Dnyaneshwar Naik, Mr. Utkarsh Ravi Kerkar, Mr. Vedant Devidas Gaonkar, Mr. Naman Vithobha Gaonkar, Mr. Dattaraj Narayan Kolvekar, Mr. Pritesh Arjun Jadhav, Ms. Melvia Mascarenhas, Ms. Anita Laxman Valikar, Ms. Richita Prashant Desai, Ms. Neha Villas Gaonkar, Mr. Rameshkumar Lalbhadur Chawan and Mr. Ramchandra Anand Gaonkar” for their remarkable efforts in educating women from rural areas of Goa.
