BASEBALL REPORT
The Baseball inter collegiate event was held at the Goa University from 21st January to 24th January 2020. The Goa Multi Faculty College team participated in the event for the very first time. A training camp of 3weeks was conducted for the students under the guidance of Mr. Dinesh Gawde. In total there were total 30 participants, 15 boys and 15 girls.
To prepare for the tournament the college boys team played 2 practice matches against GVM College, Ponda and MES College, Zuarinagar. The girls played a practice match against GVM College, Ponda.
In the first match of the inter collegiate tournament the college boys team played against Goa University and defeated them. Arjun Reddy and SulemanMulla excelled in the match. In the next round (quarter final) the college team lost a closely fought match against a strong VidyaPrabodhini team.
The girls team played their first match against St Xaviers College, Mapusa and lost. Utkarsha, Sanjana, Ashfina and Saishree played well for our team.
