The Student Council Committee of Goa Multi-Faculty College organised a “Dahi Handi” competition to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna popularly known as Krishna Janmashtami on 30th August 2019. The whole environment was filled with joy and cheer. Competition was kick started at 1.30 p.m. As it was interclass competition all the classes from all three streams participated.
In the first round all classes were allowed to participate and those 04 teams who had taken a least time to touch ‘handi’ were selected for the final round. In final round after overturning the ‘handi’, the children got to feast on dahi and candy and dance to songs which made this experience memorable for them. Winners were announced and competition came to an end at 3.00. pm.
