On Wednesday, 4th July 2018, the BCA department of S.S.P.E.S’s Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora organized a Freshers’ Party for its new batch of FYBCA students. The Principal, Dr. Manasvi Kamat, kick-started the celebration by welcoming the freshers; she stated that the new batch of students should strive to maintain discipline and achieve success in academics and extra-curricular activities.
The senior students worked hard to create a stunning venue with balloons, ribbons and other props. They organized a ramp walk, multiple games and spot prizes for the new batch; the teachers were persuaded to actively participate in the merriment as well. The Mr. Fresher & Miss Fresher Competition was held consisting of three rounds: Ramp Walk, Creative Talent Show and ‘Q &A’. Towards the end of the celebration, Sourab Gaonkar was crowned Mr. Fresher and Shramaksha Naik was named Miss Fresher.
The event ended with the seniors and the freshers coming together with the Principal and faculty members to cut the ceremonial cake.
