B.Com QUIZ COMPETITION

Department of Commerce of Goa Multi-faculty College, Dharbandora – Goa, conducted an interclass quiz competition on 15th January 2016. The following three teams had participated for the quiz competition representing their class, consisting of three students in each team.

The quiz was divided into four rounds:

• First round was “Accounting & Finance Round” where in students were asked questions based on accounting & finance.
• Second round was “Management Round”, wherein questions were based on management.
• Third round was “Logo Round”, where students were asked to identify the logo and had to name the bank.
• Fourth Round was “General Knowledge Round”, wherein students were asked about the ongoing political issues and general knowledge questions based on state of Goa.

Each question comprised of 10 points. There were no negative marking for wrong questions, and pass questions were given 5 points

The quiz was hosted by Ms. Kalpita Naik, Asst. Professor in Law, Mr. Ulhas Bansode, Asst. Professor in Commerce and Mr. Subhasis Mohanty, Head of Department of Commerce. The score board was maintained by Ms. Komal Karekar, Asst. Professor in Maths. Ms. Gayatri Behare, Asst. Professor in Commerce, also assisted to smooth conduct of the quiz competition.

Some questions were also asked to the audience after each round. All the students participated in this event very actively and enjoyed answering the quiz. The event started at 4.35.p.m. and went up to 5.35 p.m.

The event came to an end with a vote of thanks by Ms. Kalpita Naik, who was the overall in charge of the “Monthly Departmental Activity” for the month of January 2016.
