The BCA Department of Goa Multi-Faculty College, in collaboration with the National Forensic
Science University, Ponda-Goa, organized a guest talk titled “Be Cyber Smart, Be Safe!” on
13th January 2025. The session witnessed participation from a large number of students from
the BCA and B.Com programs.
Dr. Nisha Sawant, Event Coordinator, warmly welcomed the gathering and introduced the
esteemed speaker, Ms. Ojaswani Bhargav. Ms. Bhargav is a renowned cyber hygiene speaker
dedicated to promoting digital safety for over four years. She has empowered more than 70,000
individuals across India, working closely with law enforcement agencies such as the Gujarat
Police and Chandigarh Police. Her impactful work in raising cybercrime awareness has been
recognized by the Honourable Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah.
Ms. Bhargav was accompanied by Ms. Yogini Prabhu, a distinguished Project Scientist at Infinitii
Agrotech LLC. Ms. Prabhu has extensive experience in designing solutions using machine
learning for agriTech problems, with a focus on spectroscopy of NIR data. She has also served
as a researcher at Goa University, where she contributed to data analysis and protocol
development. Ms. Prabhu holds a Ph.D. in Electronics from Goa University, an M.E. in
Embedded Systems from BITS Pilani (Goa Campus), and a B.E. in Electrical & Electronics
Engineering from Goa University.

The session was highly interactive, encouraging discussions and self-assessment among
participants. It successfully raised awareness about cyber safety, equipping students and faculty
with essential knowledge to navigate the digital world securely.
The formal vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Dnyandev Khadapkar, Event Co-ordinator. As a
token of appreciation, the Principal presented mementos to both Ms. Ojaswani Bhargav and Ms.
Yogini Prabhu. This was followed by a group photograph with all participants. The session
concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem, marking a respectful end to the event.
